NEWS Valve Returns Item Levels

Valve returned item levels to user’s backpacks 4 days ago.

It apparently was an accident on Valve's part, as they only meant to remove levels from the Store and Man Co. Catalogue.

They removed item levels from the store, so that players would not be confused by level descriptions. ie. Replacing "Level 2 Hat" with "Hat"

NEWS Valve Removes Item Levels

New update might bring an end to Rare level collecting.

Valve has updated Steam, so that no one can see the level of an item inside a users inventory.

This puts quite a dent in anyone who collects rare level items.

Please note, you can still see the items level from websites such as
backpackTF
