Ended up cancelling the server subscription for now. I have been home about 5 days over the last 2 months. The work travel is real.

That being said, I'm keeping the group around. Once exprimental gets a few of the kinks worked out and my schedule slows down I may start hosting again, as I enjoyed it.

If anyone plays regularly on experimental right now, let us know the IP of the server, would love to build a community elsewhere for the time being.

Sorry guys, there was some issues with the server after yesterday's Rust update. I tried just upgrading and reloading it but it caused all kinds of problems like bases that suddenly decay'd a ton. I didn't want everyone's crap out in the open for bandits to take so we decided to do a full wipe late on 7/15.

I HAVE DISABLED EXPLOSIONS (C4/Nades) to allow for everyone to rebuild a base and gather materials and such. The /kits have been reset so you should be able to get your supply and starter kits. I will re-enable explosions on 7/28 in the AM. So you have a little over a week to get rebuilt before people start blowing the crap out of things. This worked well last time and saved you from losing your 1x1 nightly. Decay is set at 2 weeks so you don't need to be on every day.

Add me on Steam if you need anything MrSammich (my avatar is a dead sammich with a knife in him). I'll be on and off for the next week, mostly AFK, so use /report if you spot weird activity.

I had to reinstall the server after the Steam update to Rust, but DID NOT have to wipe it appears. Everything appears to be looking good. Type /report if you find issues

Server was wiped last week, so it's a good time to get started. Been getting 15-20 people online pretty regularly and have moved into the top 250 rust servers.

Been taking care of the hackers/griefers/asshats as they come along. Don't be afraid to use the /report feature. I check the logs regularly.

As you may have read, there's a pretty significant Rust update coming. See here for updates[playrust.com]. With that obviously there will need to be updates to servers, etc. I'm not sure what GameServers is planning on doing (where I host the server), whether they'll stay with the stable branch or go to the new branch, but if they stay on the stable branch for a while I plan on keeping the server the way it is for a bit. This is mostly because Oxide will completely break (all the Mods on the server) until they can get it working again.

If GameServers forces my hand to go to the new branch then so be it, and we'll be pretty vanilla till a fix is issued.
