just try the updates ive posted. its normal not to see servers. use the provided server list at the top. and add them all to favorites. if neccasary. or just use the right click then connect tab

you can join to servers if you go to multiplayer...favourites the right mouse klick and add favourite the paste the IP Adress

basicly u can host a server and invite people through chat

or they can invite u.. this is for organising a game with other players. until the master server works
