As I have for the last few years, I'll be running a CoH M&G at Origins Game Fair.
While I'd LOVE to run a "Fight Club" Unity-only group, logistically that's kinda impossible. So a bit of circumspection is required.

GenCon this year is

Indianapolis, IN

Dates: Wednesday, August 15th to Sunday, August 18th.

And our special guest is Victoria Victrix (Mercedes Lackey).

In talking with her, I promised her (and Larry) some good eatin'. Y'know. Starving artists and all.

As for the time, it's a little earlier than in previous years due to some scheduling, as she's a GenCon guest of honor.

As something of a compromise (and because she likes good eats), she's agreed to actually do a M&G evening two days in a row.
Not sure why. But this lady likes us.

That nutjob hacker Codewalker's done it again.

In that thread is a link to a program called Icon (which, funnily enough, doesn't have an icon yet), that allows you to boot right into the CoH costume creator.

The current version works with Live and Beta clients.
Currently, it does NOT unlock earned/unlockable/craftable/purchasable costume pieces. This should be rectified in a future version.

Just drop the file into the root of your CoH folder and run it."

I think there's a version that does unlock some of the purchasables, etc.

Hyper here. Yeah. The current version of the Icon program will unlock all that stuff. Also, if you have the beta client, run it from command line and toss in a -n flag. It unlocks EVERYTHING. Note: This can make the costume editor wonky. But you'll have access to stuff like Statesman's costume items. Noble Savage's, Marauder, etc.
