Jump Training to Return

With Team Fortress 2 to recieve one of the largest updates since 2011, the Jump Training group shall return and continue to help teach and train new players as they either return to TF2 after a long break or teach new players so they can catch up with the more experienced playerbase.

If you would like to learn the basics then please let me know. If you would like to help teach then let me know so I can get a skills check with you before you teach. If you know anyone who wants to learn, then feel free to share this group with others.

I plan on frequenting empty servers and practicing my rocket jumping solo, but if anyone would like to practice with me, then just let me know and I'll help train with you.

Jump Training Back In Action! (New Discord Group!)

After a short hiatus, we are finally getting back into action. This time with more than ever. I will be working on a TF2 spray banner for us here in the near future as well as I also now have a Discord group for those who want to talk and voice chat (link to Discord group below).

I'm also going to change how classes work. Every day I will be teaching a different skill (such as wall jumping, wall climbing, market gardening, etc). I will be posting the schedule for what I'm teaching and when this upcoming week.

Accepting teachers who want to help train new jumpers.

Open Class Starting Now

I've begun the open class for those interested in JT's take on rocket jumping. Anyone and everyone is invited. Simply join off me from my friends group and if you need an invite, let me know.

Also I will be livestreaming it in a bit so if you can't play, you can watch.

About Thursday's Class

I want to let members know in advance, that on Thursday I'm sadly going to have a funeral earlier that day. So that will no doubt put me in a bit of a dark somber mood, so I want to apologize beforehand that I might not be as peppy and upbeat as I normally will be.

However I would like to ask that whoever shows up to the class will take up the peppy attitude for me, and maybe with enough people behind it, it can lift me up beyond it.

Either way, I hope you understand.

Reminder About Me Joining Your Games

Recently I have gotten many invites to your games and I'm glad you think I'm that fun to play with but I must remind you that when I'm not on a jump map or otherwise teaching that I do want to try to get some of my own game time in as well. So please know that if I am busy or otherwise cannot, that it is nothing personal, I just need my own game time.

With that said, continue on as is and reminder of Thursday's class at 4pm EST.

Giveaways and Special Training Events

Second Major Announcement!

I have decided to run a giveaway of strange objects varying from items to cosmetics. There will be 2 chances to win. There will be a random draw of members, and an object given to the person with the most recruits to the group.

To enter for the second giveaway simply let me (ZooNamedGames) know of which new members are yours as soon as you recruit them. At the end of the month the person with the most recruits will win this object.

If you decide to help me out and donate strange objects for the giveaway, you will receive your choice of Mann Up Tickets or Keys, but only for every 3 items you donate.

That said- the next big bit of news is that on Thursday (11/10) at 4:00pm EST I will be leading a class on how to rocket jump on normal maps. This will be a class lesson so join if you feel like and maybe invite a friend if you want. If you cannot make the game I will try to livestream it.

So I hope you can get more members so we can help out more.

Three Announcements!

I want to make a quick announcement to our members (which by the way, thanks for everyone joining and getting us to 14 members this fast!).

Announcement one, if you want to join a discord server so you can talk off game with one of our members, let me know. Once I get at least 3 or 4 members on my Discord friend's list, then I'll open a group. I'm ZooNamedGames on discord, so just send a friend request and I'll accept.

Announcement two; if you want to become a teacher let me know! The requirements are not steep yet as we lack size, so as long as you can do decent and can explain how to accomplish jumps, then your perfect for the job.

Final Announcement; Please invite your friends if you can. I'm so glad we exploded to 14 in less than 24 hours but still we need members. Whether they be teachers or just jumpers, anyone helps.
