Why do humans do things, as a reaction? For enjoyment? To enjoy others?

If a friend of yours accuses you of doing something that u didn't do, do you get mad at them or keep saying it was someone else's fault?

I have no clue apparently, I was fighting with snatch because I was not the leader of a party but he didn't believe me, and I kept stating I could not invite him, so I get annoyed and when the leader invites him he finally calms down, now we always fight, he gets mad at me or I get mad at him, but it never comes to him removing me and never adding me back.
