A very good player

Anyone investing in Paris 2023 Legends Capsules? Currently they are on sale at 75% off. I already picked up about 15 or so of them. The capsules has some nice stickers and the price of them on the steam market is still pretty good but will likely drop in a few days when once the 7 day trade hold ends and buy orders evaporate.

Do you guys think there's any potential in Horizon case? I haven't seen them drop in a while so I'm guessing it's now a rare drop, and the fact that it's been around 80k to 90k quantity on the market for a while now compared to the Clutch case which I think is going to go down in price if only slightly because of how many of them are on the market currently—on the contrary Clutch is still rising in price even with 257k quantity at the time of writing this, logically Horizon should consistently rise in price too right?

Pretty much every case is rising in price but I'm a little confused by how slowly Horizon is performing compared to Clutch or Gamma, even if the spikes in case prices looked like it happened as soon as Dreams & Nightmares case dropped.

I'm also guessing all the case prices are rising because of case openers and more people joining CS:GO (no actual evidence to back this up).

It looks like Snakebite cases reached AU$0.20-22.

I did not think it would have increase by 1.5 to 2x in just a couple of months. Especially since it is in the current drop pool. So I sold out. Currently, I am sitting on Steam wallet balance and some playskins waiting for the next operation, major or steam sale to result in drop in prices then I might buy some mid tier cases or skins sold for steam balance by other players.

Buying and selling hundreds of cases is actually quite time consuming but case can easily rise greater than the 15% steam tax.

I guess it is like collecting and redeeming bottles in Australia. Sure you can make 10 cents each but it is time consuming and the time spent might be worth the time taken(Especially if you have a full time job and earn more working). Just my thoughts.

Breakout case did well. Currently, I am stocking up on Snakebite cases at AU$0.12 hard to lose at that price. Seems good value compared to other cases on the market at the moment.

I Think Breakout will go up to 4€ or 6€

What do you guys think of the Dreams and Nightmares case?

The case will contain 17 skins, 10 of which will be selected from the Dreams & Nightmares contest running from 22 July 2021 through to 21 October 2021.

This will be the second CS:GO weapon case contest, the first being the CS20 Case from 2019 which was a celebration of 20 years of Counter-Strike. Similar to the CS20 Case, the Dreams and Nightmares Case also has a unique case gradient colour that deviates from the usual yellow community cases.

Steam Market Sale is due 24 June 2021(29 days from now). This is un-confirmed but the website was correct last time.

Therefore, If you wish to sell market items it might be a good time to do it now and if you want to buy a new game it might be worth waiting for the sale.

@Mitchiii I know that there some sites that you can sell for real cash witch like PayPal. I have never done it but maby some one els can give in put on that. I sell everything on steam witch is a little bit loss then I buy more to invest in. Different cases and uses the profit for opening cases and buying games an such. Or I buy a knife and sell irl. It’s a big loss with tax and selling lower then steam market but it’s still profit. Mostly I do it so I break even and don’t have to put in more money

@rayzedd Personally, I usually buy around this time of the month and sell after the first of each month. people get paid around 25th - ish "3th" and have money to shop. then some things may rise more. if you are happy with the profit then sell. otherwise wait and see where they go probably they will not go down so much when the number of cases becomes smaller. should just rise

Hey I have a question about the Prisma case. I bought into 2000 prisma cases when they were $0.03 with 1.3 million on the market. After the new snakebite case was released, the prisma case was rumored to be moved from the prime drop pool to the rare drop pool. They hype caused the case to increase to about $0.10 with less than 800,000 on the market, giving me about $100 profit. After the hype died down a little, the price is at a stable $0.07-0.09 per case. My question is, should I sell them now since I've already made profit or should I hold on to them for a year or two in case they go up even more in price over time?

About 4k now. quantity on the market will increase with time as more and more cases drop over time. The price will also continue to drop.

What is it with the new case? It’s only around 2-3k of them on the market.

Hi Slim, apparently it moved directly from the Active Drop pool to the Rare Drop Pool. This seems very strange and I don't think much people were expecting that to happen.
I think SHWDZ mentioned it in his recent Youtube video.

acquire an argentinian account if you can for buying cheap cases. Primsa if you get it in euros is 0.03 but in ars it's 0.02 euros because that's 2.6ARS and can be taxed normal.

All good man you seem to be pretty knowledgeable on the subject. You seem to know what you are doing.

yeah thats the obvious way... but it's hard to find someone that would want that many cases... thaught about some big traders, but they normally just change against other steam items so thats also not a good way...
the best way i can think off is to trade the cases for a skin that is worth mor than steam market max price and sell it over an external site like skinbaron because they only take 3% fees for items over max steam price...
that way u only loose the 3% + the overpay for a big skin...

Good question.

Generally speaking real money is worth more than Steam Wallet Funds/Skins at Steam Market price. So it is going to be difficult. Especially since you can purchase cases from third party sites at a discount.

I think what might work is to find someone you really trust like a IRL friend who would want to buy those cases off you, then ask them to transfer the funds to you or give your money was cash in hand then send them them the skins.

You might need to give them a bit of a discount though.

Hi do you have some ideas how to get the case money on the bank account without loosing too much in steam/skinbaron fees? I still have about 2000 breakout cases laying around that i would like to change into real $$

I probably made like $30 in a couple of months. It would have been a lot more if it wasn't for the Valve taxes and the dreaded CS20 Cases(in which I which I think was hyped/manipulated)..

Luckily I sold out of most of my cases before Valve put the RMR capsules on sale in which looks like broke the market for stickers(Especially RMR), cases and gun skins and also broke Valve servers for a second day running.

Once the servers are back up and running NOW might be a great time to invest or simply buy play skins at a nice discount.

Having said that the Summer Steam sale is just like 2 months away and new case will probably drop next month. Interesting times..

UPDATE: It looks like the RMR Capsule sale and Valve have broken the Steam Market Place.

Hi ShonkV, if search Youtube for "gamma case investment" you should find some useful videos by Fano, SHDWZ, CykaHotFire and myself for different opinions/insights on the Gamma Case.

There's also a lot of tools/websites you can use to do your own research. I hope this helps.
