I believe Steam is based in Seattle, so maybe that's the reason.
On Steam, I'm used to games having release date X, but not actually being "live to play" until something like maybe 2-3 p.m. EST. Given that this will be "pre-order early access " to the game, I just don't know what type of day we'd actually be able to hop on and play. Keep your Saturday free, guys.
