That makes sense. If you want to keep the runs from that categor you could call it Death%, where you die as fast as possible. You can look at games with this category like Spelunky and Leisure Suit Larry

i thought of it as if you die it is a way of completing the game but i suppose not. i'll remove the category.

The definition of an any% speed run is:
'Any%' literally means 'any percentage of completion' which translates into not restricting oneself as to how much of the game you have to complete. You just have to complete it . So the any% category doesn't make sense so it should be removed

your key pickups for both keys were pretty good, i think you just have to try cut corners even more, i'm not saying you're corner cutting is bad but to get a faster run you may have to cut more corners

I personally run around the box with the hitbox by the chair and right when I see e to pick it up I just spam and just turn around to start going back to gas station I dont really know how to explain just run around box spam and turn around fairly quickly

yeah i see what you mean, could be potentially useful. the problem with finding skips in this game is that there is a TON of invisible walls that prevent us from finding any skips at all.

ive tried to look for skips a bit you can clip out the gate a little on the side of the gas station where you get key 1 by just running at it but it pushes you back in bounds also if you press space you get a little hop it only helps a little to clip out more but you still get pushed back in so it doesnt seem useful yet

sub 3 is definitely but i'm having trouble getting under 3:03 might call it quits for now and poke around the game a little and see if i can find any potential skips or just ways to get my overall time down by a few milliseconds, but i gotta work on my key pickups for key 1, key 2 is decent
