Just got done testing SteamOS. It's rough around the edges right now, but it will come pre-installed for you guys so you should have no problems.

How many invites have we sent out, and do we have a list of who has been invited so far? I invited everybody that I'm aware of. There is a partial list here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/1so3f9/holy_crap_holy_crap_im_freaking_out_right_now/ (Search for "Droffats" comment).

Also, we do want to be considerate. Some people don't want to join the group so we should be courteous and not spam them with multiple invites.

Hello everyone! Can't believe I'm a beta tester of this thing. I think I'm more interested to use the controller than the console, although I am looking forward to taking it apart.

Hi folks! Anyone know if the 300 beta units will all have the same hardware configuration? Also, do we keep to keep these or do we have to return them when the beta is over?
