      <title>IMPORTANT HIGHLANDER INFORMATION {MUST READ}</title>
      <description>HIGHLANDER- BASIC INFORMATION&lt;br&gt;In this page, I will be discussing the basics for highlander. Hopefully this will answer most or all of your questions, if you have any more questions, please take it up with me or chair. Let’s begin.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Time?&lt;br&gt;Our first highlander match will be held on Monday, January 11th, 2016. (below are listed the official times for the different time zones)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;EST/EDT: 9:30 PM &lt;br&gt;CST/CDT: 8:30 PM&lt;br&gt;MST/MDT: 7:30 PM&lt;br&gt;PST/PDT: 6:30 PM&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;(If your zone is not listed here, talk to me after you read this)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;1st Game Type: Payload and Attack/Defend maps AKA “Stopwatch Maps”&lt;br&gt;Match Play: Stopwatch maps are played in 2 halves with a potential overtime round if there is a tie after 2 halves. Each team attacks and defends one time in each half. The Home team decides whether to attack first or defend in the first half.¬ Teams should swap sides in the second half.&lt;br&gt;Example&lt;br&gt;1st half: Team A attacks and Team B defends then Team B attacks and Team A defends&lt;br&gt;2nd half: Team B attacks and Team A defends then Team A attacks and Team B defends.¬&lt;br&gt;Overtime Round: If each team wins a half, the scores will be tied at 1-1. The overtime round should be played just like the 1st half. Team A attacks and Team B defends then Team B attacks and Team A defends.&lt;br&gt;Winning the half (or OT round): A team is considered the winner of the half if they have secured more checkpoints (or control points) than the other team or if they controlled the same number of checkpoints (or control points) in a faster time. &lt;br&gt;Example (pl_badwater)&lt;br&gt;Team A secured all 5 checkpoints in 7 minutes and 32 seconds. Team B was able to secure all 5 checkpoints in 6 minutes and 58 seconds. Team B would be considered the winner of that half and would be awarded 1 point towards the final scoring.&lt;br&gt;Winning the match: A team is considered the winner of the match if they win both regular halves OR if they win one half and the overtime round.&lt;br&gt;Scoring: ¬ Each half won counts as 1 point and winning the overtime round counts as 1 point. Possible match scores ¬are 2-0 or 2-1.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;2nd Game Type: Control Point Maps&lt;br&gt;Match Play: Control Point maps are played in 2 halves (each consisting of up to 7 rounds). Each round ends when one team captures all of the control points. Each half ends when one team wins 4 rounds or the 30 min time limit is reached. Possible scores for a given half: 0-0, 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 2-2, 3-2, 4-2, 3-3, or 4-3.&lt;br&gt;Overtime Round:¬ If the score is tied after 2 halves an overtime round must be played to decide the winner. The winner of the OT round is determined by whichever team can capture all the control points first.&lt;br&gt;If neither team manages to capture all control points during the OT round, a special second OT round is to be played. In this round the first team to capture the center control point will win the match. Please note: The configs will not stop the match after one team captures the center control point in the special OT round. You will need to stop the match manually by executing the ugc_off.cfg file.&lt;br&gt;Winning the match: The winning team is the first to win 5 cumulative rounds, or the team with the highest score after two full halves have been played.&lt;br&gt;Scoring: Each round won counts as 1 point. Possible match scores are 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 4-0, 5-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1, 2-2, 3-2, 4-2, 5-2, 3-3, 4-3, 5-3 or 5-4.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;3rd Game Type: KOTH: King of the hill maps:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Match Play: KOTH maps are played in 2 halves (each consisting of up to 5 rounds). Each round ends on a timer. Whichever team owns the control point when the timer runs out is considered the winner of that round. Each half ends when one team has won 3 rounds. Possible scores for a given half: 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2. Please note: A single half cannot result in a tie score.&lt;br&gt;Overtime: If ¬teams are tied after 2 halves (example: Team A wins 3 rounds in the first half and Team B wins 3 rounds in the second half), a single overtime round must be played to determine the winner. Whichever team owns the control point when the timer runs out is considered the winner of the OT round.&lt;br&gt;Winning the match: The winning team is the first to win 4 cumulative rounds. Please note: The winning team must have won 4 cumulative rounds to end a match.&lt;br&gt;Scoring: Each round won counts as 1 point.       <description>Many thing were exchanged in the Apollo 13 Mission. For instance, when the Apollo 13 capsule blew up, many scientists helped the crew survive the space flight. They exchanged information with NASA so that the crew could get home safely. (This also gave many Americans nightmares of sapce flight.) When Apollo 13 Launched, most American people weren't really interested in seeing people on the moon anymore. It was as if they had been going for a long time. Most T.V. stations didn’t show any of the Apollo 13 footage. When the capsule blew up, it gathered the attention of the world. All people wanted to hear about was what was going on in the capsule. As a result of the Apollo 13 explosion, NASA worked on maximizing the safety of the astronauts that were going to go on other spaceflights.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This mission gave NASA reputation but they also lost reputation. NASA calls it &amp;quot;a successful failure.&amp;quot; From then on, NASA was praised about how they saved the astronauts. It was indeed one of their brightest moments. But even today, people accuse NASA of having improper safety flight checks. Everyone knew that space flight was dangerous and Apollo 13 took that to a new level. After that mission, safety checks were even more extensive. According to Andrew Chaikin, &amp;quot;a couple of weeks after Apollo 13’s safe return, four students were killed by national guardsmen during an antiwar demonstration at Kent State university, intensifying the country’s conflict over the war. interest in Apollo never recovered to earlier levels.&amp;quot;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Problems were worked out and were fixed on Apollo 14. It also gained back interest in the American people. As stated above, people thought &amp;quot;Oh, its just another moon landing.&amp;quot; When the capsule blew up, it gained attention. Interest levels weren't that high again until Challenger.With all the &amp;quot;hate&amp;quot; coming towards NASA, NASA knew they had to fix everything that went wrong and everything that could go wrong. NASA knew that if another near disaster happened, they could be shut down. They buckled down and made things as safe as they could be. Even with safety implementations from the earlier Apollo's, Apollo 13 still wasn’t safe enough. Apollo 13 carried that tradition and kept NASA working on safety implementations. Apollo 13 also set, according to TALAL AL-KHATIB, 13 life lessons. The first on is to be prepared. The other twelve include, don’t panic, set CLEAR priorities, take problems one at a time, be willing to improvise, always keep a roll of duck tape handy, pain is just part of the game, and to celebrate any victory. Saying that go with those say that pain is just part of the game and a little luck will go a long way.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Apollo 13's Saturn V rocket eventually landed on the moon. The previous mission left their Saturn V Rocket orbiting the sun. When Apollo 13's Rocket landed on the moon, scientists got ideas for seismic activity on the moon. This gave way to some of the most important facts about the moon and space travel.</description>
