The problem was the group was public but it also allowed any members to post. I've restricted the permissions of announcements while keeping the group public so people can easily join up.

Might revisit in the future and make the group required invites/request to join but for now this should kill the spam.

They appear to be all outside of this group's true members. Can we block people outside of our group from posting in the announcements?
