Ahem.
Well, it seems a good thing has passed. I'll be honest, it is kinda sad that this whole thing died, and the reason I took so long to put together this little obituary is simply that I'm kind of ashamed that I let this die and I don't like to acknowledge what's happened, but alas it has. Our chief error was this: a lack of experience and technical knowledge. We had tons of ideas, we were all prepared to voice act, and we could al write decent story but in the end none of us really knew much about actually using the source engine- we were naive in this regard. I am continuing my efforts with game design, and I'm working on a small RPG Maker project with a friend who is an artist and a friend-of-a-friend who can do music and it's coming along well. I'll post it here once it's done, and after a few iterations we might even put something on greenlight for y'all to see.

I had fun with all of you and you will forever remain in my friends list.

I have updated the weapons list as an attempt to spark off revival of this game, come on everyone! Do you need more of an incentive to work on the game? Please let me know what would make you want to put more into developing this game!

Hey everyone! Good to see stuff has sparked up again! I now know for a fact that Khorps is going to start working on a demo map at some point in the future, and Ultrix has recorded a few beta/placeholder voice lines! This Christmas, I'll be treating myself to a new headset with a much better mic and I'll contribute to the voices too. Also, my hard drive has been wiped and I lost all the audio scripts. Not to worry however, as I've got to work on redoing them, this time at a higher quality too.

As to the news about TF2 Classic I announced a while ago, the team still hasn't responded to my e-mail. However, I have e-mailed them once more just in case they missed the last one. It's not much of a big deal, however it would be nice to have that little partnership.

I'm sure most of you are aware of the TF2 Classic mod? I'll cover it briefly. TF2 Classic is a mod for TF2 that aims to not only recreate beta content, but also create new an innovative content to create a TF2 game run by the community. So far there have been some awesome features included, and many more yet planned. I do not want really to spare much work from our main project, but I have contacted their team about possibly assissting their development. I feel this will not only be an excellent opportunity to work on a great project, but also to raise awareness of our main project to help it's greenlight success once it's done. I know one of us has already worked on a project that has been greenlit (Theuaredead) and one of us has experience in TF2 modding particularly (Mr. L) and I just think we can't pass this up. Whilst there's almost no way we'll be developing with them within a year or so, I do feel it's important to get in touch.

In other news, here's the progress report: The intro scene is fully scripted and we have a female voice actor! We will need to get hold of probably 1, maybe 2 more female voice actors. I'm currently waiting a few months to get hold of some higher quality voice recording kit (as opposed to the headset and mic I currently own), and I believ Khorps is making a test map to show off what he can do. Phew. For a minute there I though this project was gonna go dead. Not on my watch!
