Kind of a shame to see a mod like this put on an indefnite hiatus again (wait, so this wasn't the first time?). Would have loved to see where it would go.

Just ported my physgun into HL2:SB, working on a temporary wiki, and fixed a bug with crashing everytime you load a SWEP. Things are looking bright. I'm going to look into string tables to start networking servers and the sorts.

Having music play on entry isn't something that's in the projections, in any event that there will be sound on the main menu, it will be because I've chosen to have a background map active with ambient sounds.

there could be other opening-menu themes, not just one theme. Kinda like what TF2 does.

I think that music would get a little annoying after playing a few times, but that is just my opinion.

i think i may have found the perfect music to play in the background at the opening menu. It is a very energetic piece and It feels like it fits the idea of playing HL2:SB: have fun and go crazy. It also feels like it fits the mood of the experience a player is about to expect when he/she is choosing a server to play on.

It was written before 1920. Therefore it is in the public domain, which means that Andrew will not have to deal with any copyright issues.

We'll have a content mounting system for sure, previous attempts at this extended functionality of gameinfo.txt, but there is most likely going to be a separate file which stores this information in the future.

HL2:SB for sixense truemotion? Just an idea. When truemotion is publically released it would put you leagues ahead of garry's mod.

Right now there's some major bugs that are halting the progress of the game all together. I can't really progress until we can find out how to track down the issues.

The difference between HL2SB and Garry's Mod? Garry's Mod was made by "Team Garry", and just like the saying "There is no 'I' in 'Team'," there is only Garry in 'Team Garry'. And we all know how much he sucks. ...And we all know how godlike Wandrew McAtters is! HL2SB has a better dev team... No matter how you look at it gmod loses...unless you look from overhead and slightly left, thats a bad angle to look at it from - don't. >:(
