It would appear 3 new tracks will be coming to Grid soon, unfortunately one of them won't be my entry....boo hiss....oh well, if you want to check them out before they come to the game then visit the link above.

Grid 1.2 patch out on Steam

It's out now, fix list :

* Fix for sessions list overflow and missing characters in front end
* Fix for errors generated on game shutdown
* Support for TrackIR
* Online experience points: more points awarded for completing longer races
* Assists on/off toggle added to session creation and browsing
* All offline events (apart from head-to-heads and touge) are now available online (event voting screen now scrolls to see additional championships)
* Fix for failure to recognise some devices in user-created action map presets, including Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2
* Fixed GRID startup issue where it appears as a process in Task Manager but fails to run
* Additional experience points are awarded for not colliding with other cars whilst racing damage on or forward sessions

Restart your steam to apply the update.

Codemasters Grid Patch Released on Steam

Restart your Steam NOW!

The first patch for Codemasters Grid has just been released on Steam.

If you have problems updating then right click on the Grid Shortcut in your games list, then click on properties, click on the "Updates" tab, then change the dropdown menu to "Do not..." then change it back. It should then update properly.

[1] Any member found to be phishing for account details will be instantly banned and reported to the Steam Admins (PLEASE GET A SCREENPRINT FOR PROOF)

[2] Anyone found to be abusive to fellow community members in the chat or on voice chat will be warned then banned if it continues

[3] Anyone hosting a server must publish the password and details in the Community Chatroom first and will accept responsibility for the game session.

Other rules will be added as the Community Grows.

UK Grid Community Teamspeak Server

I've just set up a teamspeak server for those of you in the UK who don't want to use the Steam voice chat.

The details are as follows :

IP : server.eatitclan.com:1337
Password : chequeredflag

Only admins on the community will be given admin on the server, anyone else who wishes to be registered on the server could they PM me on the Steam Forums (details below) anyone who could supply a server for the US or any other country could they PM me on the Steam Forums, username "p5ychokilla"
