GWR will be facing it's first real battle within either this or next week. We will be faced against another group, and allied with one also. This matchup will result in improved experience for our members but there are many guidelines needed to follow. Not only guidelines but hard and fast rules

Allocated Squadrons: Spitfire & Heart.

Details
A strategy has already been formed and is undergoing review. Being a familier map and using familier weaponry, we will have an advantage over our enemy. However, we have allies in the field so communication will be stretched out. It is imperative that training is undergone by ourselves and with our ally into forming a competitive strategy. I will be expecting the following materials (varying on the size limit of teams).

GWR
Scouting: 1 Cromwell tank.
Main unit: 2 Churchill MK.1 tanks, 2 17pdr Archers SPGs.
Reserve: Cromwell tanks.

Allies
Scouts: 1-3 Crusader/Cromwell tanks.
Main unit: 3-4 Crusader/Cromwell tanks.

We cannot expect our allies to be fully prepared for open field combat but the strategy minimises this risk. We will be providing supporting fire on enemy positions once the enemy has entered the trap. Numbers are expected to be limited. However, I am expecting everyone in Spitfire & Heart to be prepared to participate.
My main choices for this combat will be as follows: Myself, Hindenburg, Sad_Neko_Hours, Viper & Armalarde. Chaser, Underminer and Kraken should be ready in reserve to fill in any failures to attend.

Important!
Until further notice, our allies shall not be announced. Information of our collaboration on this mission is of top confidentiality until the day of battle. Our enemies are expected to face a sudden shock when engaging a fully coalesced squadron. The strategy shall be revealed on sunday in place of an event. Extensive training is in order so all available ours will be input for this purpose.

I will constantly update this as much as information comes through.

I am somewhat surprised by the amount of people who have GWR as a main/primary group and it does enlighten me. Let's keep it up and we will be doing well in something significant to show off.

World war mode!

Please post here for world war mode. I need to know what your available saturday GMT times are, and what nations you have rank III in (Also display if it's tanks and/or planes).

I am to obtain a group of 26 (Including myself) members into rank III U.K forces both in tanks and planes. If you do not have access to them already then speak to me about getting them ASAP.

GWR is going to be there to see the world.

Those of you may be aware the group is actually a second run of the traditional "WT GreyWolves Regiment" group. Note that that group has been shut down until the GreyWolves regains strength. You members have been recognised as dedicated (or new) members but we are still not sure you are completely aware of what you can do.

First off, you can join Teamspeak or Discord (please do), when more come on, you socialise more and I smile. Also you can comment on discussions, announcements and events. We insist you do, it makes things more alive. Also if you comment on events we know how many people are coming and they can be more fun.

Comment on this announcement with any of the following description.

If you just want to be in the group, make a comment.
If you want to contribute to the GreyWolves, put at the end of your comment "- I'm proud to be a GreyWolf." (dash please too, just makes it easier).
