February 6, this next Friday will be calv tryouts. Will be live at 6 PM Eastern right after training. Your very special Warcheif Orka will be the master of the ceremony and the cavalry leader. You will also be taught the basics and some advanced tactics in cavalry warfare as well as the "Boogy Woogy Bugle Boy Code". I will need 7 strong men/women and many, many horses, as we may go through a few. Tryouts are open to all unless you are in Rifles already.

Just thought I'd come out with a quick newsletter for you guys to update you on current events.

First off, just thought I would say welcome all new recruits! We have recently seen a huge wave of recruits. I encourage all new recruits to become as active as possible within the regiment.

Second, if you are interested in Artillery, contact Major Logic. Artillery tryouts will be coming up soon.

Third, if you are interested in Rifles, then talk to Captain Gray. Make sure you talk to him before spots run out or tryouts are over.

Also, I have finally completed all administrative duties. That means roster and rank systems are current and up to date.

Another thing, the regiment now has Medals. The medals are as follows:

Service Medal Second Class: Awarded to any member of the regiment who has been in it for a month.

Service Medal First Class: Awarded to any member of the regiment who has been in the regiment for a year.

Distinguished Conduct Medal: Awarded to members who show exemplary discipline and combat proficiency. Medal is awarded upon an Officers recommendation.

Bravery Medal Second Class: Awarded to members who show bravery in the face of the enemy and help the regiment win a battle. Medal is awarded upon Officers recommendation.

Bravery Medal First Class: Awarded to member who shows exemplary bravery in the face of the enemy and wins the battle for the regiment. Medal is awarded upon an Officers recommendation.

Citation Medal: The most difficult medal to earn. Awarded to members who show exemplary bravery, discipline, and leadership. Members who earn the medal must have already recieved the Service Medal Second Class and Bravery Medal Second Class. The medal is only awarded by the CO himself.

Lastly, we have our very own teamspeak server. Thanks to Captain Gray we now have our own, customized teamspeak server. Make sure to thank Captain Gray.
