I cannot work on the group alone I have too much going on in my life right now and no one seems to give a ♥♥♥♥ whether or not this group stays alive.

Just wanted to make an announcement as the group hasn't been booming much since I left unnaounced a few weeks ago.

I've just finished my college courses and I finally have time to focus on the modding community for Goat Simulator. Admittedly I'm not the best at modding, and I'm definitely willing to learn, but even with that being said I still have a large workload for other things I do outside of Steam that it just isn't feasible for me to work on stuff for this game at this time. That doesn't mean I'll let the community die, however.

Right now I'm recruiting moderators for this group. We need about 4 moderators who are familiar with the game and are willing to help out newcomers and maintain some things while I'm away.

You can apply by sending me a message directly with whatever credentials you believe are required to be a good manager of this group.

I also wanted to touch on something else with this announcement. I wanted to do something along the lines of community made mods. By that I mean mods that are worked on by the community as a group and then submitted by me or another moderator to the steam workshop under the groups name. I figured this could get newcomers into the scene faster, and it would raise the morale of the community. But this is just an idea and I would love to hear some input on this beforehand.

So far we've grown to 21 members, with almost half active at any given time! It's great news to see the community for Goat Simulator growing so quickly.

As I'm sure you have all noticed, lots of people have been asking for tips and advice on how to mod Goat Simulator, and I just want to request that everyone continues being as resourceful as you have been so far. Seriously, I've been hearing lots of good things from everyone.

Aside from that, I want to make it known that I am in need of moderators. Within a few weeks we will likely determine who the heads of the community are and I just want everyone to know that there are positions available. More to come on this in the following weeks.

We also need modders to start posting screenshots of their work. A simple icon / preview isn't enough. All modders who are unsure how to do this there will be guides posted in the following days. Screenshots provide authenticity and show that you are willing to take the time to do it. It means a lot to users to see what they are subscribing to beforehand.
