If you have any emoticons from summer sale that are a team-based emoticon that isn't blue, sell that emoticon and get a blue one. Also, always go BLU team in TF2. If you can't go BLU and only red, do the following (optional):
1) Wait in spectator for open slot in BLU
2) Leave that disgusting server.
