Ubisoft is finally getting rid of that HORRIBLE always-on DRM for the PC version of their games. Add that on to the fact that AC3 makes use of DX11, actually scrapping DX9 entirely (sorry XP owners) and promises for FC3 to look pretty amazing on PC as well and we are left with a company that is finally growing up and giving us some decent support. If anything, PC gamers can rejoice with the knowledge that 2012/2013 is going to be an amazing two years for the PC as more and more titles are confirmed to be optimized for the system. I believe that it is appropriate to end with an expression of great excitement: :D.

Episode 3 of The Walking Dead is available on the 29th of August! Confirmed today on Twitter. There is currently a Steam sale on the game for 40% off, an absolute bargain seeing as you receive all 5 episodes with over 8 hours of gameplay per episode and a lot of reasons to go back and play it again. Every choice has a consequence, every decision makes a difference. Whether you are a fan of the comics, the TV series or even just a zombie lover; this is a very original approach for a zombie game that I myself have loved every minute of. If you are planning on facing the zombie-outbreak, I wish you luck. Perhaps we will meet again and if we do, I truly hope I will not have to put a bullet through your brain.

Ever wondered how Skyrim would look on the Cryengine 3? Well here is your chance, a modder has created a world in the CE3 that gives us a good glimpse at the future possibilities of the RPG world. This is a work in progress, only the tip of the iceberg compared to what real developers could accomplish.
