Honestly, the best way to learn is through trial and error. Just practice building throwaway maps before starting a huge project. Make sure you are confident and completely sure what you are doing before starting one. Would lead to a huge disaster otherwise. +CУЯ33✘ツ 「Hoide」 Honcho Make sure the texture size (in pixels) is to a power of two (32x32, 128x128, 512x1024). Make sure it is in the textures directory and is in the correct format. Google a tutorial if you are still stuck.

Idk what im doing wrong, but everytime i try to make custom texture/material. Its just making it black and purple in hammer.... pls help

normally when you upload your map you just got to select those gamemodes that you would like to have in your map and the game will add it automatically
