Locksmith here with a small update. The NDA for Gigantic[www.gogigantic.com] has finally dropped as far as talking about it goes and a select few have been given the opportunity to make videos and stream the game! And because GLG is always up to date on what's coolest, a few of our streamers have been selected and will be streaming Gigantic regularly! Here are the cool people you should follow .

Discord

We are switching from GameVox to Discord. I know, I know, "Why are we changing again? What are you guys doing?". Quite simply, we prefer Discord. You can use it in your browser if you want, so you don't have to download anything (or ask anyone to download anything). You don't need to create an account. And it has mobile apps so you can chat all day, wherever you are! Also, lets be honest, people weren't really using GameVox so I don't think we are losing much by switching. Try it or don't, but this is where we will be from now on.

Facebook Group

We are opening the flood gates again! You can now invite all of your friends to the group if you want. Community rules still apply (http://www.anook.com/topic/3801).

New-ish Year. Few-ish Changes

Hello all you good looking whatevers!

Monk here (totally not Locksmith. Definately Monk) with a quick announcement for our Teamspeak users. Due to Multiplay's bass-ackwards business practices, we will no longer be hosting a Teamspeak3 server, but the good news is we've found a promising alternative! GameVox!

Connecting is a quick and easy process, you can make an account at the link above and download the GameVox program. If you already have an account, you can just add "GLG" to the server list and you are good to go! We understand it isn't as feature complete as Teamspeak at the moment, but we are in contact with the developers and are suggesting a ton of features for future updates. Some of them are actually coming in a few weeks!

For those wondering why we are switching, we wanted to downgrade our current TS server back to 50 slots, but multiplay will only allow us to re-up for another year at our current 75 slots, or upgrade. In order to downgrade we would have to buy an entirely new server from them! Combine this with the unreliable server stability (constant random downtimes, you all know the drill), it just wouldn't make any sense to continue to do business with multiplay and their services. We took this opportunity to look at all of our voice comms options and we like the direction that GameVox is headed!

We hope to see the same faces around our new server!

Starbound update!

So a Starbound update came out recently and it wasn't a small one! They finally added Novakids (along with a lot of other stuff that isn't Novakids). You can check the full patch notes here:
