you dont have to buy it. I have same version as you have and I can play on the same server! So just try it and then come again so we can play a few rounds together!

I have a very old version of 2008 without steam, so, I can't play with you now, but if you say that there are still some people playing on servers, or at least you have regular events and enough players taking part in such events, I can buy this game again any moment. So, is it worth doing that ?

Should not be that difficult by disassembling / reverse engineer it ( if Nordic Games agrees ). Ok by the way I tried to make a bot mod for the multiplayer last year but I didn't have time to finish. FFOW is indeed one of the few Unreal Engine 3 based games which has the editor BUILT IN.
It means you can launch the editor through adding an argument to the game exe shortcut ( I forgot which one exactly but it can be retrieved on the internet as it the same principle as Gears of Wars PC ). If the community grows up again I think I m gonna work further on that project and we gonna need some other motivated Unreal engine freaks / scripters / coders.

I'm good to go. I'll hope i can make it. btw. I talked to the dev at Nordic Games today. He said they didn't recieved all the code for Frontlines after they get hold of the IP. So this is a little setback i guess. I had the hope they could alter the ingame serverbrowser to use Steamworks as masterserver and reboot Frontlines this way. So maybe the only chace is a hacker who can alter the exe file somehow to point at an alternate masterserver. I have seen that before RTCW for instance. So there is still hope.

As soon as he joins visits the group I'm sure that he will upload their IPs himself
