Dev Badge Gone?

Does anybody have any info? Since all members had to have it, I'd like to find out where it went and why.

I've noticed that the group member count has been dropping. So I wanted to thank everybody for their membership regardless of time spent. If any of those that leave are in my friends list I might ask your reasons for leaving. For quality control. So that I can improve the group for the members that stay. I appreciate those that take the time to respond to the question. One such response and reason for leaving was based off this comment left on their Greenlight game's comments

To be clear, I hadn't even had any contact with this game's dev. I only sent him the group invite to For Developers like I do for all those with the Steamworks Development badge. So I'm unclear as to what this "vote-boosting" is even referring to or how For Developers would be known as such a group. Maybe they're just Greenlight trolling.
I'm still a little curious why so many others have left the group recently.

STEAM DEVELOPERS BADGE SCAM

Hello For Developers members. I wanted to make this announcement because I feel it should be shared with you guys, the development community. If I had direct contact with any of those with the Valve badge, I'd also let them know. The scam is to offer money to be added to a game as creator to get the badge. Having the badge is how I try to maintain the group without, scam discussions and links. To me, it's the only way to be sure the people I invite are valid members of the development community. So if this isn't just a one time case, I hope it gets fixed. I didn't start this group to see it end up full of spam like so many other open groups.

I wanted to thank every one of you who accepted my invite. Also those that had any interest in what the group could offer. Reviews, curator recommendations, discussion threads or chat section for a few examples. We've come a long way from the days when I first started the group. o members back then and now we're closing in on 2000. Here's to seeing For Developers reach it in the new year. If I missed any of your co-workers that have the Steam dev badge, let them know about the group. They can either join the group chat and send me a chat request or a friend invite.
What would you like to see from the group in the new year? Suggestions are welcome. I might have started it, but it's our group. We're the For Developers community. I look forward to building it further with you in the new year.

Events and 500 Members

I wanted to tell everybody that the groups event section is open to all members. Things like a Beta test or free weekend, release date for a game or maybe a live stream time would work. Any member can post.

Today the group also passed the 500 members mark. Thank you to everybody who clicked accept.

For Developers Curator

Just a quick update.
I've started the For Developers curator page. I'll be recommending games that I've worked with through the group. Only group member created content will be recommended.
