It's not just an enhanced login system. Your Steam account will be used to access a bunch of cool forum features we'd like to have. Instead of allowing people to create accounts early and us having to convert or merge them with their Steam accounts later, we figured we'd make sure the Steam login feature works before announcing the forums.

Currently the only reason the forums aren't public yet, is that with the recent release of MyBB 1.8, the plugin that allows you to login via Steam has stopped working. It requires tons of debugging to get sorted out which is what Msk is currently busy with.

Pretty much, it's hard to say when things'll be done when I'm not actually the one working on them (I don't know computercodelanguages). I'm just trying to keep you guys in the loop with what information I have. Forums are delayed due to an unexpected issue we're working to fix.

It's still being worked on. mavodemd and I have put together a forum which'll be made public in a couple of days. Still can't give you an ETA for the server itself, much as it pains me. I can't really speak for the Devs either, perhaps after launch we can ask them why things took so much longer than expected? :)

Exactly, we're still working hard on the server and everything that comes with it. There've been several bumps in the road but launch day is getting closer and closer with each day that passes. If you're a member of this Steam group, you don't have to worry about missing out on anything. Forums will soon™ be online as well. Stay tuned!

@ThisIsLife I have spoken to a few of the Staff and there is just a lack of Posting due to their steam group team. I suggest you keep a look out on JC-MP server list, though I'm sure it will also be announced on here.
