League Update

Due to a lack of attendance, the league portion of this group will be postponed indefinitely. In the mean time, I am racing with Can Am [canamvrl.no-ip.org], these guys are the best league I have ever raced with.

Current plan for Friday nights

Due to low/ inconsistent attendance, we will be running the server public on Fridays. We will be running about 30 minute races. Hopefully we can get more peope or more consistent attendance to really get this going.

First Race of the Season- This Friday- July 10th @ 9:30 PM PST

GT3s @ Laguna Seca, 20 minute qualifying, 10 minute warmup, then race, which will be at least 1 hour long. Real tire wear and fuel consumption. Performance impacting damage, accelerated time to give full day/ night cycle. Clear weather.

First of all, thanks to all who raced on Friday, I had a great time. It seems like all had a good time.

I changed the group description to GT3s, mixed class was probably ambitious at this time. So please register your GT3 class car choice HERE. As much as I like the weather, I don't think we should run it for the first season. I think we should still do the day\night cycle though.

Next Friday will be The Ring and Le Mans. I haven't figured out the exact number of laps, but plan on about 30 minute races. Probably about 5 around The Ring and about 10 around Le Mans. Qualifying will be 30 minutes also. I'm thinking about adding a 10 minute warmup to give people a quick break before the race.

I think we are getting more activity and participation from group members, so please post your top 6 track choices in the track section of this Steam Group forum. I want to keep it to 6 races for a short season. The plan being we get to a steady 30-32 racers for the next season. This also gives time for the game to get the final kinks worked out.

I have moved the first real race to July 10th, so as not conflict with anyones 4th of July plans.

Hi Everyone,
We will be running GT3s and Prototypes at various tracks this Friday @ 9:30 PM PST (GMT -7). Hopefully we can all get together for the first time. PCARS and TS servers will be in the forums.
