A bunch of us are planning to test out this game. We have been downloading it and will be playing together on Saturday, probably in the afternoon or night.

Collecting data for survival

accident and myself are currently working on a new system to rank players which we believe will be impressively accurate but to do so we need survival times, at least 15 per map.

So everytime you play, even if the time sucks and is below 20min, please write down the time or screenshot it.

It will be a GREAT help!

We hope to have this system up and running maybe one or two weeks from now.

As everyone knows, accident is a bad ass mathematician who knows all about statistics, so he's developing formulas to accurate evalute player performance customized for each map.

I plan to get Pro² a nice looking webpage where all of our members will have their stats displayed with cool looking line charts which will record your progress over time.

After this webpage and score system are launched will be able to track our best players over several months and which teams had the best performance during certain time periods as well as who was the best player during that time period.

It's going to be awesome because I believe doing this will actually be able to score amazing times that weren't possible before.

I know we have the talent in this group to make it to 60min on Dead Air- Crane before anyone else and I'm confident that this program will make it possible.

Survival History Lesson

Did you guys know that a survival team back in July 2009, played Dead Air - Crane and made it to 15:28.37, a record that would be held for about 18 months (1.5 years).

What's also amazing is that it appears that no one was using any modifications (crosshairs, lerp adjusts, etc.) which would basically mean that the time would have been voided.

AND if the strategy looks familiar it's because these players appear to have invented the so called "Euro Strategy" which everyone today uses. For the record all of the players are Dutch aka from the Netherlands (checked their steam profiles and added them to my friends list) :3

It just makes our job that much easier. Thank you for thinking about us. Btw i do believe it is complete. You know our time thing. Anyway big thanks for everyone having screenshots to look at and a special thanks to linnear for having 201 screenshots of times i had to look through. Good times. :D So yeah please post times here, and if there is a time that is wrong, please fix it. You are making this group proud for doing your duty. :)
