We have a vent, there's roughly 5-7 of us so far. I can't speak for all of them but I'm up for giving this a serious chance.

I loved FFXI when it first came out, played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it for only two months, but stopped around level 25ish on my second job, because the grind and time it took to find a group was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Reinstalled a few times over the years, just to have the same issue. Haven't played in over four years.

If I bought this, how many bros are serious? How many hours/day are you guys playing?

I play on Lakshmi, and also have a bunch of RL friends that play there as well.. we recently started, but are making good progress.. I'm 24RDM/27WHM, and a few other classes. I can help everyone find summoner burns for quick leveling, syncing, and more.. I'm sitting on 500K+ Gil, and a couple of good items for each class..

If not, if you guys need any help, I'd be glad to help.. Maybe I can look into starting a character on Asura with you guys come next week when my money is a little less binded :(

Class-wise I'll probably end up going something melee heavy

So we are all playing on Asura, but what about starting city/race? I'm Probably going Mithra/Windurst since Windurst is the least boring.
