To start it off, if you're wondering where my steam updates with predictions are, I haven't been posting any.
ALL MY PREDICTIONS ARE ALWAYS POSTED ON MY INSTAGRAM HOWEVER, SO BE SURE TO FOLLOW ME THERE IF YOU WANT GUARANTEED UPDATES AND NOTICES

Ok! Onto The Predictions!

Godsent v CLG

My Thoughts On This Match : Godsent is getting a lot of hype in this LAN. They have 2 great fraggers and although they had a bit of a bumpy start, they seem to be leveling out and adjusting now. CLG has a lot of LAN experience. They've taken down a lot of big names. They have a much larger map pool, and their team group morale is incredible. They're always smiling, encouraging positive behavior, adapting to strats etc. While they may not be a team to take down big name EU teams, they surely are a threat to NA, and like Liquid, definitely have the potential to change history (NA never winning a major and making it into quarterfinals like twice)

NiP v Astralis

Bet : Astralis

Size : Small

Risk : Med/High
My Thoughts On This Match : I feel like this game is a 30-70 so I figured fuck it whatever and put $3 on Astralis. Astralis is here to win. They lost 9-16 to Dignitas, a team which I knew would do good in this tournament (Predicted Dig v NiP too :P) on their WORST MAP. Astralis bans Cache EVERY. TIME. I have no idea why they didn't this time, I guess they wanted to go into lower bracket and pull an OG Fnatic or something. Even though NiP has showed their "skills" against CSGL, I really really see Astralis taking this one, unless they decide to let Cache into the map pool for god knows what reason.

Mouz vs. NiP

Bet : NiP

My Thoughts On This Match : On day one of the major, NiP squeaked a win out of Flipside in OT1. They are playing with a substitute player instead of Pyth in this tournament. On day 2 of the major NiP lost to Luminosity, the Brazilian team who nearly defeated Fnatic, the top team in the world as of now (aside from that Liquid upset) and NaVi on their best map, Overpass. This is understandable, as NiP has been in a slump for a while and are crippled due to a loss of a player. Mouz almost took down luminosity on Mirage, what is known as what I'd say is their second best map, but both teams lacked a lot of coordination, and Mouz had an awful T side which they nearly came back with. On day 2 we had the longest match of the major, with Mouz against Flipside. This went to a 5th OT I believe which is fucking nuts. Cobble is NOTORIOUSLY Mouz's best map, and to see them struggle against a team such as flipside really shows how uncoordinated they are in this tournament. Their performance has been anything but impressive, and I have high hopes for NiP as they fight their way through the major.

FaZe vs. Fnatic

My Thoughts On This Match : Fnatic had a very close game against liquid today, and seemed a little off. Krimz and JW were underperforming and some very lucky clutch and strong plays from Liquid (Moreso Elige and Hiko) Squeezed out the win in OT2. This was on a BO1 on dust 2, a map that Fnatic almost lost to Vox Eminor a few majors ago, 16-14 I believe. Dust 2 is a map famous for upsets and 88-12 odds were retarded. This is a BO3 against a team that hasnt been really living up to its hype too much. BO3s means much much lower chances of upsets and Fnatic should be a good pick here. If fnatic is under 80 which they might be after the liquid loss which would be stupid, then definitely bet Fnatic here.

Gambit vs. CLG

Bet : Underdog

Size : ICB/Small

Pick'Em : Gambit
My Thoughts On This Match : CLG completely embarassed and humiliated EnVyUs today, knocking them out of GROUPS for the first time. A crippled team in an awful, pitiful state. Gambit holds the near same roster as HR and has been doing pretty decent for the major so far. I gotta say this is a 55-45 IMO. Very hard to predict a winner here, and I feel as though it is an absolute coinflip.

G2 vs. NaVi/VP (Getting ready to watch NV vs VP as I write this!)

My Thoughts On This Match : G2 got fucking de_stroyed by VP. A slumped VP, who might be coming out of it but still. VP is outstanding on train, but a 16-1? An EU vs EU 16-1? That never happens. Very very rare. G2 rekt cloud 9, and although I love C9, their team is in complete shambles right now, and they're even easier to beat than EnVyUs. In a BO3, NaVi and VPs mappool is much much better and larger than G2s, they should definitely come out on top.

LATE DAY 2 PREDICTIONS

F3 VS MOUSE : Small on Mouse (late) Mouse Pickem

FaZe vs Splyce : Skip but FaZe expected (late) FaZe Pickem

EnVyUs vs Gambit : Small on Gamit (sadly late :C) Gambit Pickem

C9 vs G2 : Small on C9. Should be a close game. C9 Pickem

NiP vs LG : Small+ on LG. I expected a better performance from NiP against flip yesterday and they didn't show up. Winning in OT isnt that great, especially on cache. LG will probably take this match. 25-75. LG for pickem

Fnatic vs Liquid : ICB on liquid, but put Fnatic for pickem ofc

CLG vs Astralis : Small on CLG. For sure. This seems more like a 35-65 to me. CLG really has been showing a LOT of potential lately and could definitely pull an upset here. (doing CLG for pickem)

NaVi vs VP : Small on NaVi. VP destroyed an absolutely trash G2 yesterday. G2 played horribly and train is one of VPs best maps. NaVi for pickem.
