I would recommend changing the Name Tag's place to "one key"
Since it is so common lately that it is worth less than a decent paint can.

i'm gunna go ahead and recommend one refined and one reclaimed. seems fair enough, it's about just under half a hat, which tbh i feel is the worth of a key as it doesn't garentee equal returns. thoughts?

The metal prices are high enough. I don't know why people keep attempting to increase them. Greed fuels the increase of prices in the trade community.

Yea the keys price has increased mainly because there are more promotional items going around and people want those items tend to pay a lot of keys, in which the reciever uses them up so the circulation of keys are slowly decreasing

Not a bad system, trading items that we inevitable all gain and hate in exchange for the potential to gain even better items. I like this, shame I uninstalled TF2...though with guys like you helping I may just reinstall even if my laptop hates the game.

I say two refinded is the right amount for a key.

Well 2 ref is bad, but 2-3 hats for 1 key or 3 ref for 1 key is just too much
Ive seen that in some servers and aswell the guys who take bigger payment from stuff that is cheap or guys who try to rip off someone (example: 1 wep that can be crafted cheaply is being sold for 1 refined)

I also witnessed this. It seems that TF2 is turning into a place for greedy "I WANT THIS AND I DON'T CARE IF PEOPLE ARE OKAY WITH THAT OR NOT!" guys.

But hey, our metal price stays like that for quite a while (if not forever) and everyone (with a working brain) is welcome here.

Donations recieved until April 6th will be used for supporting Valve's "Help Japan" action. Donations beyond the date and/or the total price of the pack will be spent on keys for the group to make more events possible.

Donators can decide how much they want to donate. Even a Cent is fine.

The blueprint would make too many people rage I guess.

If only there was a way to craft and make a key.

Your activity in this group and your helpful posts got yourself a promotion, UGS. You are now one of the group's officers. Since you aren't able to buy and trade any keys, you get a special, so-called "NoKeyOfficer" status. It should be self-explanatory.
Have fun.

You can either join the Chat Room and hope someone appears who is offering the Key, or you can wait for an announcement by one of the Admins saying they have Keys available. After that, it is a matter of going in TF2 and offering something based on the guidelines (Or along those guidelines) for the Key.

Just remember, "First come" doesn't always mean "First served". You get in trade with a Key holder and don't have a satisfactory offer, they ain't gonna give the Key.

Hey there, it's awesome to see people with reasonable guidlines (even suggestions) for key prices! I am honored to be in this group :) I just have a question about actually buying the keys. I did read wall of text above, as well as the latest announcements. So who do I talk to to buy keys? Any certain persons? I have some team spirit + a couple other paints I could trade for keys, maybe some hats to. Let me know if I am somehow breaking the rules too, please, I like this group and would like to do what I can to stay. thanks,

Interesting Fact: If I chose to trade all my Crates for Keys, I could get 33 Keys from this here Market. Others would probably only give me like 4 or 5.
