All,

I am sorry to inform you that the EnigmaCodeGaming community is over.
(Unless Titan changes his mind right after this post)

This is because the owner (Titan) of the domain-ECG, the one who has paid for the server for all these years, has chosen to withdraw from the community.

Due to lack of communication we don't really know why, but I'm sure Titan has his reasons, and I think those reasons are legitimate.

No hard feelings.

I will now also speak for Hellbound (H), the lead Admin.
Yes, we have always had two administrators on the server.

Thank you Hellbound for everything you taught me when I was new!

H and I want to thank all of you players who have been on the server, a special thanks to all of you who have been in the Steam group!

The ECG server has been really busy for the last few years, lots came for a session or two and from the feedback they liked it.
The reason was that we had a mature and helping players in group.
The team game.

We both know most of you, played together with you, some we banned, some we also unbanned.
Read the ban requests/appeals section and you will understand how H and I managed the police work.
I think we were fair in our decisions.

So, this era is now over and I will only remember the good parts.
Defcon 5, are you copying? *smiles*

Also, Titan thank you for hosting and the development work you did, you made the server.

Why we do not respawn on this server.

1. Escape is not a COD game where you die and just respawns and go back to game.

ECG server is about team play, working together, if you die or beeing unconscious wait for the team mates to heal you,this strengthen the team play.

If you fail as a group and all die maybe you had the wrong approach against the target.

2. Respawn is to just go to lobby and then coming back.
Arma has problems to realese player data memory, that means further that bugs in game will occour eventually.

So, please follow server rules and play together!

OK, what to do when for example I log in and I´m inside a rock?

Reconnect! Leave server and connect again. Server will acknowledge that and realease the memory of last player.

There will be occasions where you for example jump out of a vehicle to close to a building and you get stuck inside that building and no one can reach you or revive you.

Leave server and come back DO NOT just go to lobby and respawn please.

This is a 10 slot server. and is already up.

If you all feel that you want more than offered, then you are free to donate to clan pay[www.gtxgaming.co.uk] to increase available slots, and even reinstate the second server, supporting the sog maps etc.

if enough Clan pay donations are received we can even look and other MODS and servers.

Gaming as a Group !!!

Would anyone be interested in a persistent game?
We have over 100 members, and it would be really cool to setup a server where everyone would play.
Obviously it would be something like wasteland, Exile, epoch, or even DayZ standalone.
Or of course if you know of another mission or even a game that we can host, and play as a group and the majority want it, then I will look at hosting it.

hi guys , starting from today 26/08/2019 running to the 30/08/2019 we will be doing some maintenance to the servers, we will be only working on one at a time so there will be a server up and running but one maybe locked with only a few players showing this will be staff testing to make sure everything is running how it should be.

so please dont worry it just needed to happen from time to time we shall try not to mess up anyone gameing time.

failed power supply on the server. prob due to the power cuts, and i don't have any fancy UPS!.
