Update / reset of the retake server

Hey everyone,

Some of you already knew this but I am currently working on a new version of the server. It takes a lot of time since I can only work on it in the weekends because of school. The updated server will hopefully be released by next weekend.

The new version will give us some great new features:

A new, more advanced !guns menu
A better ranking system, based on skill not on playtime
New 'ranks' for people that play a lot on the server
Free to play accounts will no longer be able to join, neither will accounts that have under 250 hours of playtime on CS:GO

Sadly, I will have to reset some of the statistics:

Everyone will start with 0 visits again
The !rank stats will also be reset

I understand some of you may be sad to hear these things will be reset, but in order to move on with the community, changes have to be made. I hope you can all look at it as a 'Season 2' of Ember retakes, where everyone starts fresh. In the near future, I want to gradually add more and more servers.

Of course I will keep the database of everyone's stats backed up and will post them somewhere later for everyone to see. I have yet to think of a good, worthy place to do that.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for making our small server the nice community that it is today.

CS:GO Retake Server is here!

After some work, the awaited community server with gamemode "retake" is finally here!
IP: 193.111.199.66:28763

One map goes on for 30 rounds, then another map loads. The cycled maps are Active Duty maps only. A few useful commands to know are listed below:

guns - Choose the weapons you want to play with.
rank - Display your rank on the server in the chat.
session - Show your current performance.

We encourage people to share suggestions on what to do with the server that could potentially improve it. A good place to do that is at the discussions.

There will be coming more CS:GO servers in the near future! Suggestions always welcome!

We are currently working on creating a community server for CS:GO. The gamemode will be retake. Terrortists or Counter-Terrorists spawn across the map and try to defend or take the bombsite, just like in competitive.
