Hey, Moonoranges, I saw your comment about the controller not working for a game. Instead of using the game's (broken) controller mapping, search for a program called "JoyToKey." It's free and will allow you to assign any controller to keyboard strokes. I've used it extensively and it's an excellent program.
I sent you a friend request. Feel free to ask questions via the DM system or this is fine, too, I just don't know if it will send me a notification if anyone replies here. From the comments available, I presume there is no such notification system for these message boards.

Anyway, that program is outstanding, free, and easy to use. Cheers.
