Hey guys,everyone has been extremely quiet here since the last Tournament. Everyone needs to rouse up or else ESF may fall down more stair steps than it already has. So Im just curious to see whats going on around here since Im getting back into ESF and all,always looking for more players to play with!

Alright boys and girls. We're going to do a seeded tournament to acquire the now vacant North American Belt (North American Continent Only). Seeded means ranked, and with that in mind I have asked around the community for rankings of top players and am taking the averages, for those who havent played in a while we ranked you based on past preformance and stuff.

Rules: 1, 2, 3 allowed, 1 additional hit on terain No exploits, No Buu/Cell
Maps: Any
Servers: Chicago, NY, and Dallas as a last resort due to the settings being funky there

I like what this group is dedicated too. I see too many people get frustraited over this game and quit before they give it a chance. Mostly due to relentlessly assaulting veteran players.

I see that some people say they have signed up for the tournament but only made an account on the page. That isnt enough. Read the forum post good to see what you forgot. Most people need to sign up and then need to go to league (right side of the website) then choose ESFL Tournament #1. When you are there go to the top of the screen and press sign ups. From there you can sign up for the tournament. Thank you.

If you have your own team or clan you are able to make one.
You play 1 vs 1 but with some advertising from your team/clan.
I am sure its usefull for later.

1 Other small detail.
When you make an account be sure you select your country flag.
Some allready did but check it if you did. Its kinda important for us incase of ping issues.

Hey guys, I realize a lot of you don't use any custom rates so here are some that I use, it should make timing a little easier, for drifts and just general responses. I use a DSL connection but when I had cable it was fine too..

cl_cmdrate 101
cl_updaterate 101
rate 20000
fps_max 1000
fps_modem 0
and i use
net_graph 3 to make sure my loss and choke are at 0, if they arent then play around with your rates!!
