In todays announcement I will talk about the event rules being changed and the second player of the week.<br><br> First off are the event rule changes. Previously, events could only be created by the owner (me), officers, and moderators. Since this group is faily new there are only 3 of us so far. That led to events not being scheduled regularly, as they would only be made when we were ready to play. But thats not what this group is for! Its for everyone, the Duke Nukem community, to organize groups easier. Therefore there will be some changes, and rules to follow those changes.<br><br> Now events can be made by any member of this group. Rank no longer matters. If you feel like playing you can now organize the event, instead of having to post in the forums, where it might not be viewed as easily. Furthermore, because just anybody can post, and there is no gate barring the entry to this group, posting events will come with a few rules.<br><br> 1. Stay on topic. Events are for filling games. Anything else and the event will be removed and you may have your privelages revoked.<br> 2. No event spam. Post it only once every hour. Your event will be seen. If you spam, it will become annoying and people will just end up leaving the group, and you'll get nobody in your matches. Privelages will also be revoked.<br> 3. No derogatory language. No cussing. No rude remarks. No directing comments of any kind to specific Steam members.<br> 4. Event must be explained in detail. I will provide a template that you can follow, but you can feel free to add or remove information that you don't like. People must know what exactly your event is.<br> 5. Any language is acceptable. If you can though, provide an english translation at the bottom, as a majority of the playerbase speaks english, although its not required.<br><br> Follow these rules and everything should go very smoothly. You must speak English, or the primary language of the region you want to monitor. <br>2. You must own the game.<br>3a. You must have previous moderating experience.
