If anyone is creating textures with vtfedit and your textures are showing up white in hammer or you get the "7.2 resources error" or you just installed and are getting the "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect." then install the latest update for "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security" Update here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14431

zps doesn't seem to recognise 7.3+ file versions of vtf's.

Right now I completly agree with you. As for balance It's best to leave that till last because it requires alot of trial and error on the testers behalf but you can probably balance obvious troubled areas that may favour humans far too greatly after all the geometry is laid out and the map is optimised. There's 2 stages of optimisation when you map but I'll help you out when we get to that stage! I love you Hiji!!! @_@

I'm still going to continue to work on yume. However future updates will only be on the general aesthetics unless I can get feedback on the map's balance and flow.

hey guys just a helpful tip of the day ;), before you start a map or if your stuck in hammer and have no idea what the ♥♥♥♥ to do. it helps to draw the top veiw of the whole map on paper so you have a rough idea of what your going to make, this also helps if you get half way through making a map and you run out of ideas and your map doesnt flow very well. it also helps with ideas. (trust me things will fly into your head when your drawing it up). also you can take photos of it and upload it here so we can have a general idea of what your making and input ideas, and as always have nice day - Schmidty~
