im not sure but the best way to run it is by adding the dolphin exe as a non steam game and go to properties under target the location of dolphin.exe should be shown put a space after the end quotation " and put /e then copy your rom location by shift+right clicking on the rom and clicking copy as path once this is done then past the location (right click paste) after /e

"C:\Program Files\Dolphin 4.0\Dolphin.exe" /e "C:\Program Files\Dolphin 4.0\example of a rom here"

thats basically how it should look and it should have overlay so u can exit out of the game with the controller

Has anyone been able to use the Steam overlay in Dolphin when using the Direct3D9 backend in Windows 8.1? I can only get OpenGL to work and that's too slow. If so, could you tell me how you did it?
