The game with Socratz this afternoon was fun, and quite tense near the end. Realyl enjoyable, even if we lost. Heh.

Played the Dec. 5 game with Socratz, lots of fun! Really appreciated the attitude they had despite it being my first time!

yup socratz represent pretty much the descent community by himself ^^ i like the game and would like to join a group to play but always hard to have everyone playing at the same time this weekend it wont be good for me...

Socratz helped me to learn to play the game last week and it was alot of fun. I'm sure what he is trying to do will be an benefit for all.

Socratz is definitely a good overlord. He is patient and enjoys showing new players the ropes.

Hey Socratz, I'm down for some Descent this weekend. We've played before (I've played the overlord and usually get my butt handed to me) but it would be nice to get a good group and play the campaign all the way through. I have a physical copy of the game along with the campaign books so I usually play the overlord but I have no problem if someone else wants to be the baddie.

Hello everyone, With the help of meny others ive been working on setting up a complete setup for Descent 2.0 with all expansion content that wont break the original shadow rune campaign. I host games every weekend, a campaign game on sat at 6PM PST and a game to teach new players on every sunday at 3PM PST, also ive been taking time each day to show people on TTS this game exists and to lead them to "How to play" youtube videos. Aww, just got the Tabletop Simulator and was hoping that Descent (no matter whether 1st or 2nd edition) would be one of the games I could play with it. I suppose I'm out of luck.

I just hope, that the base program will be successful enough so that publishers of boardgames realize that it would be more beneficial to eventually sell digital versions of their games themselves (as modifications or not) than to try to curb and stifle all digital incarnations of their products.

It's not like I wouldn't be willing to pay for it. Certainly not as much as for the entire physical thing, but certainly enough to make it worth their time. Where I live there are no people close by to play such games - so buying the box is pointless. :/

where can i get the file to play descent?

Just a quick question. Thank you for creating this mod as I own the physical game myself and couldn't get people to play it... Where exactly are the board pieces? Are they not in yet or do we have to freehand it using dungeon pieces? Unless I missed a file or something in that download.

BTW I'm hereing some people haveing some issues with a few of the cards and monsters loading. if you experience this let me know ill give the work around. I'm not sure if its imgur or tts causing it but Me and another stumbled across an easy fix

Hi!!! i own a copy of Descent + two expansions and a very good friend travel into another country so we hope to play in our alone nights to Descent :D

The internet told me I could find the Descent mod here. I recently purchased TTS, so if anyone can find it in his or her heart to share the love, I would be eternally grateful!

Own the physical copy, just know my playgroup would love to be able to play from the comfort of home some nights. Thanks for all the work, hope I can get to enjoy your mod!

I had tried really hard to get things going, had a campaign going and it never completed and hadn't looked in my group in forever as I had kinda gave up. Didn't realize there was so much interest. .. I'll get stuff together and post Dropbox links or something in here. Fir anyone who doesn't know I spent 3 months working on this m9d, a reworking it as the game gained stuff it could do. The monster cards and stuff really need to be reworked again with new functions b7t I've been busy. And frustrated that I was actually suspended from steam for a while for making the mod public in the first place. I will get it together.

I am in the same boat as Zool, I own it all but as a married guy with kids find it hard to get everyone together. and setting up and taking down is a big pain as well.
