What's everyone playing? Need another guy?

Sorry I haven't been on and haven't had the server up. I just moved and the motherboard in my pc fried. So I'm reduced to using my xbox to even surf the net. I'll be trying to get it all back up ASAP.

As of right now there is no need to be on any beta branch as 26 is now the stable build. I will give another update when a new IWBUMS branch comes out.

how can i join?

@Mierda it was doing that to me the other day too. I had to delete the character and start again. Not really sure what does it, but in my case I had accidentally logged into it using a seperate install I have of the game with the bedford falls map.

@death, i think server failed atm can you check it please?

it says 'timeout downloading zip, ill keep waiting forever' and thats pretty scary man.

Oh I forgot to mention make sure you delete the project zomboid folder in the steam directory also.

FpsGhostFog the IP is in the discussions tab under server info. Also I think I figured out why others are having issues. The versions you are using aren't matching up. So what you need to do is delete local content, delete the zomboid folder in C:\Users\your username then reinstall using the IWBMS branch. That should allow you to connect I hope, as that's the only thing I've been able to work out with someone else who was having issues.

@Big ol' Cat Actually I think as of right now it doesn't work cross OS. That is in their plans though.

I want everyone who is having issues connecting to the server to uninstall, delete everything related to PZ, in the steam folder and the zomboid one in your user folder, and reinstall using the IWBS branch. As near as I can figure it has to be either mods are screwing with it or something with your game just isn't matching up with mine.

Does the multiplayer work on mac? I'm having trouble connecting. Keeps saying connection failed.

@Aapsoldaat The default port should be fine it'll assign a different one if needs be.

@ty_bomber I'm not really sure what your issue is then. I have two friends that have been able to connect. Have you tried uninstalling, deleting anything left behind in the steam folder and then installing again. The only thing I can figure is you may have changed something with a mod that worked by installing it directly into the Project Zomboid folder. If not then I'm drawing a blank.

i now am running build 25. i deleted the zomboid folder in my c:/ under users and i got the IWBMS branch so i do not know why i cannot join still :(

On the main menu of the game in the bottom right corner. If you are on the IWBMS branch you should have the correct version.

Well guys my buddy was able to connect to the server, so it is working. :)

You need to make sure you are on a clean install of build 25 or at the very least be on build 25 and delete the zomboid folder in C:\your username then use the info provided in the discussions tab.

Operation Woodbury 2.0 will begin once the server comes back up, I need people willing to put their lives on the line drawing away the hordes from this location in order to begin the rebuilding of the once proud Woodbury (walking dead ftw).
