i thought this was PVE server, just got killed by 2 players near a heli crash. Am I in the wrong place? Shame really

Hi all. Just a quicki saying how much I'm enjoying Deadlands pve and the meeting survivors across the map. Yesterday (Moon and myself) had so much fun being driven around the map to heli crashes and army bases thanks to survivor2's driving skills. We spent 3 game days (day/night) traveling and visiting each others bases and chilling. Having lots of fun and hope to meet up again and will keep looking for more survivors :)

Bohemia have just implemented a hot fix for issues with 1.08. It was automated, sorry there was no warning for the server restart.

What do you think of 1.08?

We remind players that this is a PVE server. You must only use NON-LETHAL force when protecting yourself, your bases and your equipment. We understand that today has been hectic, with all the new players and server crashes whilst we edited the server files, but please be restrained. We will be lenient today, but normal rules will be fully enforce from tomorrow.

We're now on 1.08 and the server is up and running.

We're still waiting for the update. Feel free to play as long as the server is up. We're going to try and NOT WIPE the server. We don't have any added mods only edited xmls. The xmls will be over written anyway with the update. There will be a period of time whilst we edit the new files to up zombies wolves etc and to change spawns etc. the server can stay up while we work on them off line. All being well we won't need to do a full wipe, so, no one will lose anything. Well, that's the plan.

@Elsieraven thanks, i found a car again and i am back at my base :-)

@slim99 DAYZ did have a hiccup and swallowed all the cars. Looks like every car on the server disappeared. I can't pinpoint exactly why it happened, it's one of those annoying DAYZ bugs. However cars are spawning again and if you find one and need assistance finding the parts to get it running let us know.

yes my car also disappeared... was locked away safe.... then gone.

Yesterday we had a car despawn. If anyone else had an issue, please let us know. We won't magic you in another one but we will help you find parts to get one you find running.
