Three years ago Funcom released Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, an MMO that promised to change the way players approached stories in their massively multiplayer games. While the title had issues at launch, it's maintained a solid playerbase and the studio has released an expansion which received positive response from critics.
Now Funcom wants to breath new life into Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures by introducing a hybrid business model. They'll be doing this by way of a digital re-launch this summer, which will also change the name to Age of Conan: Unrated.
This hybrid business model will offer the choice of a free-to-play version of the game, or the standard 'premium subscription' model which will offer access to extra content, Funcom said.

Actually, thats just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That video is way before I took over as GM. And that was pre dkk and their drama. DKK broke out because I liked carange and they hated carnage. And guess what, I still like carnage and they still hate them. The more things change...
