Known fact: In the United States DDoSing is a Federal Offence violationg the Computer Misuse act of 1990, and is punishable of up to 10 years in Federal prison NO MATTER HOW OLD YOU ARE.

Of course but international law is a problem. You will only be charged if you are within the country and also you will not get 10 years for ddosing a gmod server. If anything you would get a few weeks at most. Dos is a crime but it is technically not passive or in the process of theft.

I just joined this group. Frankly It is such a good idea.

You obviously have zero understanding of ddosing otherwise you would know that it's relatively easy to protect servers(and yourself) from this type of primitive computer technology.

@spacecore permabanning wont prevent ddosing. As long as they know the IP they can ddos it, banned or not.

Rape them. Seriously, i have already tracked down 6 of them, and raped 4 of them in the ass. They never turned on their PC's again...

If your admin yes but I just get their address and then call a friend up to wreck something.

its impossibel ttoo trace DDoS because its distributed, you can trace DoS, not DDoS

@ Sniperduck, you may have heard this on the SLA forums but we were able to track down a guy called Rarity who was ddosing our server, I don't know if it's possible to track an IP from the server itself unless they are on some community forum or something.

Me hate DDOS...

@hourglass DDoS is impossible too trace aswell as the only cure would too block the hundreds of ips from hitting you but by the time youhave done that... it would be the next week :\ the only good way is too null route your ip(or servers) or maybe if you have a dedi server then hvae it go outt he "back door" which helps some.

IDEA: We need a gang of awesome programmers to make an anti ddos system that ppl can buy. Not only could we find a cure for ddos with this product, but also make a couple hundred dollars.

I just joined and invited 79 people, aka everyone on my freinds list to this group. I beleive ddosing must stop. Just 2 days ago my server was ddosed by some 16 year old ♥♥♥♥♥ who thinks he can scare us by ddosing our server over and over again.

Been playing gmod since the early gmod 9 and never would have expected the Ddosing to turn into this ♥♥♥♥.

Also a Server is somebody's Internet Connection, So if they're ddosing the server Basicly they're restarting the Victim's router also and Filling it up with ♥♥♥♥♥ every kind of ♥♥♥♥♥.
