Okay as everyone should have noticed by now our server has been shut down since (9.2-2015) and it is expected to be up and running again later today.

However we will no longer be using the old server. Instead we will use the old server to inform and refer our members as well as common players to the new server.

On both servers all levels has been reset and this is what we call "Seasonal reset". Seasonal resets are expected to occur once every year.

To explain it a bit more in depth, upon our seasonal reset we reset the ranking systems, both our casual ranking system as well as the WCS ranking system. We reset all players levels, private races will accordingly be erased, and credits will be reset as well, but as this is the first seasonal reset we will reward our most dedicated players by allowing them to keep their credits.

Some people may find this to be a big annoyance and a source of frustration, which we at the Ɖawn Community of course are able to understand.

So why are we doing this?
- The answer is not that complex after all. We strive to give our members as well as players the best gaming experience. To do so we keep our servers as clean as possible, removing all data which are no longer being used, to assure that we will be able to give you a stable and fast server and give you the best for not to say fastest funny moments.
The best way for us to do so is to clean up in our files on a regular basis, but we wouldn't do this to our players that often as we do not consider it to be fair to them. Due to this we've decided to hold a seasonal reset once a year.
Using this method we hope to be able to bring all of our members and players the best possible gaming experience possible.

This doesn't bring back the levels and lost items, nor does it remove the frustrations that you may be having, but we hope you will be able to see the reasoning for this action as well as understanding why we've decided to take this initiative.
In this seasonal reset we have also applied a lot of changes and added over 25 new races to the server, fixed a lot of bugs and in general attempted to make the game even more entertaining than before, so the seasonal reset can also be viewed as a huge update providing great new features and a lot of new gameplay. Our coding team will of course do our best to ensure this patch is flawless and will be running without any problems.
