you could run it on AS 2 before, some of the maps didn't work though. I run it on AS 2 when im adjusting or changing weapons values to my liking on the AS 1 version all the time

AS1 has always been the only one the mod can run on.

The new version of 8.8 no longer works for AS 2....only AS 1. I do not know the reason for this but AS 1 is now the only one that can run the mod

Every time I start AS 2 with the mod activated it crashes. Is this a problem for anyone else? Does anyone here know how to fix it?

it works for both AS 1 and AS....for it to work on AS 2 you have to revert the game to the previous version

No, the 4gb patch can work with any modifications or just vanilla MoW. It is not needed for 8.5 version
