Hey folks,

It's been a minute. Life has coursed its tumultuous course, taking us down paths we never could have imagined. I hope you all are well out there, we're encroaching upon dangerous times these days.

I remember Games and More Fondly, the community we brought together and the connections we made, many of which persist to this day. Whether it be from the homebrew Fallout RPG games we ran or to the two story tall projections we conjured, these memories and more burn starkly in my mind.

I'm here wishing you well friends. If you ever feel the world is lonely and you've nowhere else to turn, here we are. A Flame amongst the Dark. Feel free to reach out if you seek to cast aside your worldly worries, even if but for a moment. I trust a fresh new world perspective may come out of it.

Stay safe out there my beacons in the dark, you are yet needed.

Garry's Mod Event Friday/Tomorrow

This Friday (4/22) at 5pm, we are having a Garry's Mod event.
We will be playing gamemodes such as Murder, Prophunt, TTT, and more.
Since I can host a server, we will most likely not be joining others unless people want to.

Team Fortress 2 Event Wednesday

This Wednesday (4/20 <-lol) at 6pm, we are having a Team Fortress 2 event.
It would be just like the TF2 event we had previously and depending on what most people want, we could play normal TF2 or Mann vs Machine.

Unreal Tournament 4 Event

On Friday (4/15), we are going to play Unreal Tournament 4 which is in pre-alpha at the moment. This game is different from the other games we played since it isn't on Steam. However, it is completely free to play.

If you wish to participate in this event, you can download the game here: https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtournament/
You will need to make a Epic Games account when installing.

Once you have the game downloaded, go into the launcher and on the top right, there should be a friends tab (image of 3 people). Click it and then add a person named "Headcrab".

We will be using Mumble for voice communication.

Unreal Tournament is a fast-paced FPS arena shooter, similar to Quake.
Due to Unreal's Hub system, anyone can make a server with no port forwarding required.

Tabletop Simulator Event Friday

This Friday (4/8, starting at 5pm) we are going to have a Tabletop Simulator event. We will chose games based on how many people there are, and which games people want to play. Those who are interested, make sure you have added me on steam (I will make a comment on this announcement for those who haven't).

Voice chatting is important in Tabletop Simulator because it is essentially playing a Tabletop game, just on a computer. Therefore, it would be very beneficial to have a mic. There is in-game voice chat, but we will also be hosting a mumble server (the same one which it always has been).

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Event

On this week Friday (4/1), there will be a CS:GO event. Depending on how many show up, we could do an actual match or do custom lobbies.

For communication we will use Mumble but CS:GO has a pretty good in-game voice system that people could use, if they don't want to use Mumble.
