So far it seems to be working. drenched clothes and 3 cold guts and my character is staying at the perfect temp even while sprinting nonstop

Put the guts in water to make them cold faster, Mine are nice and blue now

Apparently to avoid overheating in .60, carry guts around on you. After they go from red hot to blue cold, they'll start acting as cold packs. I'm about to go and test it out.
