Update 1.3.0 and other Announcments

Hello,

Over the past few days we have been finalizing the changes for the 1.2.1 patch that we had planned to be released this weekend however we have decided to just include it with the 1.3.0 update which we anticipate on releasing sometime this week. Update 1.3.0 will include 4/5 new items and plenty of bug fixes. Update 1.3.0 is mostly about getting the server as functional as possible. We will update you upon its release. There will be a discussion on the Steam forums containing the complete changelog for 1.2.1 and we plan on releasing one for 1.3.0 upon the updates release.

We also want to announce two new projects that are currently in development.

Public Vinilla Server:
We have plans to bring the network to the public and plan to release a second server for vinilla. This server as mentioned will be open to the public and will include many new features that will not be included in the modded server. Please note that the private server will remain private and that we plan on having non game changing microtransactions on the public servers to help generate funds. We plan to announce more about it later down the road and plan to release it Februrary or March 2016.

Super Secret Project:
We are currently working on a new unrelated "secret" project that will be released for free. We are working on a demo to be released sometime this spring followed by a full release in late summer or early winter 2016.

Update 1.2.1, Update 1.3.0, and the future of the server

Hello,
Thank you for your support for the server

I wish to announce that we are working on a small update which will be released sometime this weekend. There will be an announcment for the launch and you will be given 24 hours to "pre-load" the update. This small update will feature a few small server tweaks and bug fixes for multiple mods.

However I wish to announce this is part of a bigger update thats currently being worked on that will greatly improve the server for the users and behind the scenes. We will provide more information when that update gets closer.

As for the future of the server we wish to create a community of around 16 players at launch. Be sure to invite your friends by supplying the information document and informing an admin that your recommending a player. We will also be looking for methods of sustaining server crowd funding however we have no intention on forcing people to pay and people who do pay will not get any advantage over another player who has not payed. More information will be provided as we work out solutions.
