No one failed us, our opponents were a team of mercs; heavy, demo and spy were all mercs. We have the honour of saying our team were there from the start and not put together last minute by finding players who are great at a particular class. They had 20 registered players in their team yet they needed mercs still. We could have searched for a team purely based on skill set or we could have done what we did and put together a team of players who have met through casual games and lobbies.

I joined HLO to have fun, which I did and I hope everyone did as well. It was a new experience for me as I had never played Highlander before (pyro is quite a boring class to play in HL :p). Don't put yourself down because we lost a few maps, just play to have fun and meet friends.

We can always lobby together or find some casual teams to scrim if people want to. Or just pub stomp (:

Thanks Swipez. The team we are playing tonight has a good sniper, I've look at some of their past games and he's been at the top for most of the ones he's played in. So we need to be careful with him.

Sincerest condolences for the loss of second match guys... The team had a potential to win, but there were several small things that made it impossible, such as substitutes for med and sniper, or lack of preparation and bad morale if it came to most of the team members... Better luck next time i guess.

Good game. Need to get everyone on mumble next time. :) Maybe have a practice game if possible before the real one.
