We have our final match of the season tonight. While the playoffs still remain, I very much doubt we qualify. Even if we win tonight we will only match our win/lose ratio for the last season we played, and we didn't qualify for playoff then. Anyway, our last match will be played on koth_lakeside. Everyone here should know this map pretty well. As always, try to be on and ready by 9:00pm EST. Let's try to end the season on a high note.

We have a match to play tonight so be ready at 9:00pm as always. The map we will ba playing on is cp_glassworks. This is another custom map that you need to download from the ugc website if you haven't already. Plus, I would encourage everyone to look through it before the match just so no one gets lost or anything.

It's match night once again. This time we will be playing on koth_ashville. This is another custom map that you will need to download. So once again, make sure you have it downloaded and take a look through it if you are not familiar with it. The other team will be hosting, and will give me the info about half an hour before match time. As always, try to be on by 9:00pm EST.

It's match day once again. This time we will be playing on Badwater pro, a map we all know with a few tweaks and changes. I'd encourage everyone to download the map if you haven't already and to take a look at it. Knowing the changes will help us adapt to the enemy a bit more since there are some new paths that they can take. As always, try to be on and ready by 9:00pm EST. Let's try to make up for our terrible display last week.

It is match day once again. This time we'll be fighting in cp_steel, a map we should all know, even if it does seem maze-like at first. This one will be a bit harder since some strategy will be required. Some of it has been discussed already but there is still more to go over. Anyways, the match is set to start at 9:30pm EST, and they will be hosting. I'll get you the info when I get it myself. As always, try to be on the mumble by 9:00pm. But, if you are able to get on earlier and want to be in the strategy discussion more in depth, try to get on at 8:00pm or so.

Interesting Strategy Video

As you all know, we have a match on Monday on everyone's favorite map. Cp_steel. I have found a video on strategies that you may find helpful. While it is by no means mandatory, I would recommend that everyone watch it. At the very least watch some key points that may seem helpful. Here is the video.

Just a reminder that we do have a match tonight. We will be playing on koth_viaduct_pro. This is a custom map which will need to be downloaded off the ugc website if you have not done so already. It does have some minor differences from the valve version, so you might want to look around it on your own beforehand. Anyways, I'll get you guys the server info as soon as I can. Oh, and as always, try to be on the mumble by around 9:00pm EST.

Sorry for the late announcement, but when I tried to check things last night the UGC site was down. Anyways, we will be playing on Gullywash. Again, a map we should at least be familiar with if not know. The match will be at the default time of 9:30pm EST. As always, I'd prefer everyone to be ready on the Mumble around 9:00pm EST. The other team is hosting, so I will get you guys the server info as soon as they give it to me.

Alright. The match starts in half an hour. If you have not already done so, get into the mumble ASAP. I will have the server info shortly and we should start shortly as well.

Once again, we will be playing on Upward. And do make sure you have version 2.0.5 of p-rec installed.

Prep for the Match

EDIT: If you had it installed from last time, check the version number. Apparently the link leads to 2.0.5 while we (or at least I) have 2.0.6. I don;t think going down a version would be useful. Just a heads up.

EDIT 2: I looked into it and apparently version 2.0.5 is the one you want. Apparently 2.0.6 causes crashes and such due to Valve making changes and then reverting said changes. So just make sure you have 2.0.5 up and running.

Alright. Our match is going be at our standard time of 9:30pm EST. I will be renting a temp server and will get the info as soon as I can. Unfortunately, I can only rent the server about twenty minutes beforehand, so I won't have anything until then.

Anyways. Everyone needs to make sure that they are ready. As you'll recall, we all needed to have p-rec installed to automatically record demos of our gameplay. Here is a link [bitbucket.org]. I would recommend downloading it from the site and re-installing it even if you have it from last time. Just in case of updates and such. Other than that, just be on and ready by 9:00pm EST if you can.
