The Grand Duke’s Cross, is awarded to institutions and charities that support the disadvantaged and less fortunate people of not only Canada but also the world. It can be awarded by the Sovereign and Grand Dukedom.

The Medal of Ferocity is awarded to those who perform outstandingly in skill at defeating and ultimately overwhelming the enemy of Canada in the face of outstanding odds or difficulties.

The Sovereign’s Seal, is awarded to both Canadian and non-Canadian individuals who have personally inspired or assisted the Sovereign in such a way that they have earned the Sovereign’s close friendship and partnership. It is one of the nation’s most prestigious honours.

~ Awards for Acts of Military Valour ~

The Cross of Johnathan, is the highest award for valour available to members of the Canadian Armed Forces of any rank, in any service, and allies serving under or with the Canadian Military command. It is only awarded for extraordinary valour and devotion to duty while facing a hostile force.

The Star of Military Valour, is to award those of the Canadian Armed Forces personnel who have demonstrated "distinguished and valiant service in the presence of the enemy." The star may be presented to an individual more than once.

The Medal of Military Valour, is awarded to members of the Canadian Armed Forces for "an act of valour or devotion to duty in the presence of the enemy. The medal may be earned multiple times.

~ Awards for Acts of Bravery ~

The Cross of Valour, is the highest ranking of the Canadian bravery decorations and is awarded for "acts of the most conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme peril."

The Star of Courage, presented to those who have been deemed to have committed "acts of conspicuous courage in circumstances of great peril." The Star of Courage is the second-highest ranking of Canadian bravery decorations.

The Medal of Bravery, is the third rank of the bravery decorations, awarded in recognition of "acts of bravery in hazardous circumstances." It is the most commonly awarded decoration for bravery.

~ Awards for Acts of Merit ~

The Meritorious Service Cross, is intended to recognize individuals, both Canadian and foreign, who have carried out meritorious acts bringing benefit and honour. The Military division recognises highly professional acts that are of considerable benefit to the Canadian Armed Forces, while its civilian counterpart honours similar acts, whether in athletics, diplomatic relations, humanitarian activities, etc. that benefit the nation.

The Meritorious Service Medal is the secondary meritorious service decoration and recognises highly professional acts that are of considerable benefit to the Canadian Armed Forces by military personnel, and to the nation by civilians.

The Order of Merit, is the highest civilian award for merit in Canada. Its use is to recognise distinguished service in the armed forces, science, art, literature, or for the promotion of culture. The Order of Merit has one grade and carries with it only the post-nominal letters OM. It can only be awarded by the sovereign.

The Order of Canada, is the country's second highest civilian honour for merit and is administered by the sovereign, or by an appointed representative of the sovereign. Its appointment is granted to those who adhere to the order's motto "Desiderantes meliorem patriam" (Latin for: "desiring a better country"), meaning that, in essence, the honour recognises lifetime contributions made by Canadians who made a major difference to Canada, or non-Canadians who made the world better by their actions. Musicians, politicians, artists, benefactors and many more are eligible to be accepted into the order. The Order of Canada is currently composed of three grades, which are, in order of precedence, Companion, Officer and Member.

The Order of Military Merit is a society of members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have demonstrated dedication and devotion beyond the call of duty. It is awarded by the sovereign or an appointed representative of the sovereign. The award has three grades, which in order of precedence, Commander, Officer and Member.

The Most Prestigious Order of the Wolverine is awarded to those in the Canadian Armed Forces who have succeeded in achieving many great deeds and decorations in their service to Canada’s Military under seemingly immense pressure. It is made up of three grades which are, in order of precedence, Commander, Officer and Member.

The Most Ingenious Order of the Beaver is awarded to Canadian Nationals and also to foreigners who have performed their duty with utmost ingenuity and uniqueness, thus furthering the nation’s national image and benefiting the world as a result. It is made up of three grades which are, in order of precedence, Knight, Companion and Member.
